As our receptionist, she manages the front office which includes tasks, such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and conducting the pretest and retinal photos. She loves anything to do with the outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and even taking road trips! She loves meeting new people, so feel free to stop by and say hi!
Dr. Sandy Hokama
Doctor
Dr. Sandy Hokama retired on 12/23/22. She is currently providing her support to Dr. Sarah Frassato with Redondo Optometry. Sandy Hokama O.D., has been in private practice since 1992. Her first practice was in Torrance before she moved to Redondo Beach in 2002. She is a graduate of West High School and proceeded to get her B.S. in Biology at Loyola Marymount University and O.D. at Southern California College of Optometry.
Besides being a mother of two beautiful daughters who are now grown adults on their own journeys, she enjoys gardening, working out, and traveling with her husband of 32 years. It was and still is a difficult time for her to let go of Redondo Optometry and the friendships she developed over the many years. Being a breast cancer survivor and having the recent loss of her Mom and Dad, she realized her health was important and reluctantly decided to retire, to start a new phase of healthy living. She has a great love and joy for everyone that is a part of Redondo Optometry.
